Paul VanDorn, was born and raised in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood on the City’s south side. He spent over 25 years in law enforcement in one of the cities western suburbs and draws on his experiences, relationships, and whatever random thoughts pop into his head in his writing. Aside from writing and spending time with his family, he enjoys sailing, flying, and playing music.
Danny Sarros was born and raised in Chicago and the city’s western suburbs. He holds a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America and continues to work as an international gem merchant. Danny is a natural storyteller with a fondness for detail that he uses to paint a more complete picture for his readers. He enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as the outdoors. When not home, Danny can be found fishing in some remote spot in Canada or sitting around a campfire, telling stories while frying up the day’s catch.
Lola Hewitt grew up in Nora Springs, Iowa. A small town with a population of 1337 in the 1970 census. She moved to the twin cities in 1984, spent most of 42 years taking care of customers for one company, and found it very rewarding. Lola’s experiences in life are what she enjoys writing about most.
Aside from writing and spending time with family and friends, she enjoys the outdoors, golf, riding motorcycles, baking, and DIY projects.
